Where We Work

In the following pages, you will discover the many different ways in which we work to bring
about a better world. Together with those amongst whom we live in Africa and South America,
we celebrate the fantastic diversity of colour, culture and peoples on this planet of ours.

What is a MISSIONARY?

You may have some ideas about the kind of person who becomes a MISSIONARY,
Or the kind of things a missionary does.

Do we really go around belting people with Bibles?
Do we really baptise anything that moves??
Why bother?

Being a missionary means being on the edge,
Ready to risk new ventures, to face change,
To cross boundaries and especially

TO HEAR THE CALL OF THE MOST NEEDY,
THE POOR,
THE SICK,
THE REFUGEE,
THE MARGINALISED.

Why would YOU want to do this?  YOU HAVE A CALL.
