Many thanks for your kind support and generosity.

June 28th, 2019

Today was the day our raffle was drawn. We were very privileged to have Father Tom McDonnell here to do the honours.

The winners will be notified by post next week and the results published in the Catholic Observer next Friday.

Thank you to everyone who took part and for all your generosity.
It is greatly appreciated.

2019 Lenten Appeal

Greetings from St Patrick’s. I hope you are well – and that you will be blessed by the Lord to undertake a prayerful and spiritually renewing journey through the Season of Lent.

As you set out on this Lenten journey, I invite you to make a Lenten Contribution to accompany your prayerful and spiritual renewal. I promise you that every penny of your generosity will be used to support the missionary work of the Lord, through service of poor and marginalised peoples and communities in Africa, Brazil and the West Indies.

As you will see from some of our mission projects and programmes described - our priests work directly with people ‘on the ground’ – bringing them practical and much needed relief and support. Your generosity will be channeled directly to and through our priests. This enables us to keep a close eye on how your generosity is spent and to ensure transparency and accountability. It also means that we know that your generosity and goodness is being used in the best possible way and that it does make a difference to the lives of so many people.

So throughout Lent, I invite you to continue to ‘Be the Difference that makes the Difference’ to the lives of people you may never meet or see. But you will be in their heart (and ours) as they join us in thanking God for what you help to make possible for them.

Joining you in prayer for a spiritually renewing Season of Lent.

Yours sincerely,

Fr Kyran Murphy
