Through funding from St Patrick's Missionary Society and Trócaire, and generous donations from family and friends, Fr Fintan has helped homeless families find homes; helped families set up small businesses so that they can now provide for themselves; helped with school fees and feeding programmes for children in need; helped internally displaced people settle again; fixed drainage problems for people living in swamplands; and given hope and joy to many.
