Friends of St Patrick

The "Friends of St Patrick" are Associate Missionaries of St Patrick's Missionary Society. They Associate with our priests in realising the general aim of our Society which is the glory of God and the sanctification of members, and the particular aim of our Society which is missionary activity. There is a saying that, "some give to the mission by going; some go to the mission by giving"; the Friends of St Patrick go to the mission by giving. 

How can you help?

The Friends of St Patrick collaborate with us by:

1. Promoting mission awareness and inviting others to be Friends

2. Encouraging vocation to St Patrick's Missionary Society

3. Apostles of prayer

4. Financial support for missionary work and formation of seminarians

5. Helping to raise funds for the mission

6. Active involvement in whatever assists the work and progress of the missionary activity

Types of membership of the Friends:

1. ​Anonymous members - Those who collaborate with us without wanting to be known

2. Auxillary members - Registered members who are yet to commit themselves fully

3. Perpetual members - Registered members who have committed themselves fully for life through the rite of perpetual enrolment
