In May 2023, Pope Francis appointed Mons Christopher Naseri as the Auxiliary Bishop for the Catholic Archdiocese of Calabar in Nigeria.
Bishop Christopher Naseri Naseri was born on April 5, 1970. He was ordained priest in Calabar on July 5, 1997 and was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Calabar and Titular Bishop of Gurza on May 1st 2023. He was ordained on Saturday last, July 22nd, as the Auxiliary Bishop of Calabar in St. Paul's Catholic Church, University of Calabar in Cross River State, Nigeria.
