News from KwaPatrick, South Africa

From Fr Martin Mulholland: "During Lent our students and priests at KwaPatrick fast from various foods on their daily menu. At the end of Lent, the money saved is calculated. A variety of food stuffs is then purchased and shared among the various places where the students do their Pastoral Work so that they can be distributed to the most needy people there.

This morning Emmanuel Oboh, a third year student from Nigeria, brought some food parcels to St Anthony’s Parish in Pietermaritzburg, where Fr Terry Nash ministers. Fr Terry, with the help of the local St Vincent de Paul will identify the most needy and distribute the parcels. In the photos Emmanuel is seen handing over the food parcels to Fr Terry."
