On Saturday, September 19th, four young men were ordained for St Patrick’s Missionary Society. Blessed Ejenavi and Julius Ugwa Oluchukwu were ordained priests and Innocent Olise Chukenedum and Isaiah Njoroge Njeri were ordained deacons. The ordination ceremony took place at Holy Family Utawala Parish in the Archdiocese of Nairobi, Kenya. The ordaining bishop was Bishop Maurice Crowley SPS. Congratulations and blessings to these young men and to their families.

Gracious and loving God,
Help our priests and deacons to be strong in their vocation.
Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom.
Give them the words they need to spread the Gospel. Allow them to experience joy in their ministry.
Help them to respond to human need and seek to transform unjust structures of society through their compassion and courage.
May they strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, to sustain and renew the life of the earth.
Help them to become instruments of your divine grace.
We ask this through Christ, Our Lord.
