Remembering our Deceased…
Today’s feast connects us to all those who have gone before us – our families, friends, neighbours and fellow human beings who have died. It reminds us of the great journey we all are on and the mysterious and painful transition we make from this world to the next. Far from leaving us, our ‘departed’ brothers and sisters are just gone before us. We are still one family. Today we remember especially all those who died recently and whose loss we still grieve. May the souls of all the faithful rest in peace. Amen.
