In May 2023, Pope Francis appointed Mons Christopher Naseri as the Auxiliary Bishop for the Catholic Archdiocese of Calabar in Nigeria. Bishop Christopher Naseri Naseri was born on April 5, 1970. He was ordained priest in Calabar on July 5, 1997 and was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Calabar and Titular Bishop of Gurza on May 1st 2023.
