Today we celebrate the Virgin Mary: “I will sing forever of your love, O Lord.” Mary puts her faith in God and stands ready to do what is asked of her. Today, December 8th, is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Many people believe that the feast celebrates Jesus' conception, but in fact it celebrates Mary's Immaculate Conception; the fact the Mary was, from the very first moment of her existence (her conception), without sin, and chosen to be the Mother of Jesus.
